I thought I'd try this because DA Hub hasn't been working for me normally ever since I came back from vacation. No matter what I do, it will not give me points, and says I haven't been active enough to earn points. I've been active on here since I came back, so I have no idea what's wrong.
PS: I get points (at no cost to you) if you go to the DA Hub page by clicking on the links above in the journal. Any points that result would be much appreciated.
Can anyone help me identify this painting?I was recently looking through a cool art blog on tumblr (I don't have an account, if you're wondering; I just occasionally look through art blogs there), and saw an old oil painting I really liked. Unfortunately, the only photo of it is small and of poor quality. Wanting to see a larger/better image of it, I tried searching the title and information the blogger had provided, but it turned up no results. I also tried using Google's "search Google for this image" function, but the only result it found was the same poor quality image I had searched for in the first place. Other art blogs featuring this painting all linked to this same poor-quality version.

Even the information given about the painting's title and what museum it's housed in is conflicting. The blog I found it at gives this information: "Venus and Adonis, 1650, Museum inside Castello
Artist: Giovanni Stefano Donedo o Danedi, called “Montalto” - b. Treviglio, Bergamo, 1612, d. Milan, 1690
Work: Venus and Adonis; 1650 c.a.
Medium: oils on canvas
Provenance: Donation 1939, Alessandro Durini Foundation
Location: Pinacoteca del Castello Sforzesco, Milan
and here's the link to the larger picture of it: www.sonofman.org/img/mil091.jp…
The site that link is from ( www.sonofman.org/sfor.htm ) also has a lot of other cool renaissance artwork.
The info for the painting was discovered by a tumblr user, whose blog is at quoting-shakespeare-to-ducks.t…
Thanks for helping me look!
